No: 51 Date: 11/1/1992 Name: Mike Albert and Steve McCollister The two Douglas County commissioners were successful in their push for Douglas County to buy the Ak-Sar-Ben race track and add keno at the facility to make it more financially viable. As is now known, it didn't work. McCollister is shown juggling keno balls while Albert, a racing fan, is on a race horse - actually a rocking horse that went nowhere. Also shown is the Douglas County Hospital, which was having financial problems at the time. The artist decided that keno might be the solution for that facility's problems, also. Back to Top
