Name: Congressman Hal Daub
Hal Daub was a U.S. congressman when his Face was unveiled, serving from 1981 to 1989. He is shown riding a Republican donkey with the Capitol and Washington, D.C., in the background. He was a member of the Ways and Means Committee, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, and the Small Business Committee. After leaving Congress, the former congressman and attorney went to work for the Deloitte and Touche firm in Omaha, before being elected Omaha mayor in 1994. In the 1996 OPC Show "Omaha Goes to Hal." much was made of his new police helicopters or "Hal-icopters." The fourth-generation Nebraskan was an Eagle scout and trumpet player who played in a band. He had a presidential nomination to the Social Security Advisory Board, 2002-2006 and was chairman elect of the Community Health Charities of America in 2005.  Today he is an attorney with Blackwell Sanders.  Back to Top
